### Multi Gateway Routing

Multi Gateway Routing allows you to use multiple payment gateways to optimize payment success rates. When a payment fails with a specific error code on one gateway, Slicker intelligently retries the payment on another gateway, increasing the likelihood of successful processing.

### How It Works

Slicker uses data from past payments, including gateway performance metrics, error codes, and transaction details, to predict which gateway has the highest probability of success for a given transaction. This dynamic routing ensures that your payments are always processed through the most effective channel.

For example if a payment fails on **Gateway A** with an error like `generic_decline`, Slicker can route the retry to **Gateway B** based on historical success rates for this type of user and this type of error.
